SERVICE GUIDE
How portal services work
Registration and verification
Creating an account and submitting details records a self-declaration. Authorized staff must separately review evidence, consent and KYC before approving verification.
Updating a profile or address
Complete registration, then use Update registration details. It saves your new self-declared profile for future requests and creates a pending review case. Previously submitted records remain unchanged.
KYC renewal
A renewal request enters the staff queue. It does not extend the expiry of an existing KYC record. Staff must obtain and review current evidence and required consent.
Appointments
After citizen registration, use Book a biometric centre visit to reserve an available five-minute arrival slot at an operational centre. Hours are 9 am–6 pm IST, with up to five people per centre slot and a maximum of 200 across all centres per day. Bring your original citizenship document. A booking or recorded attendance does not verify biometrics. Earlier appointment preferences remain in request history.
Receipts and credentials
The downloadable masked receipt acknowledges self-declared registration. It is not a government identity card, an Aadhaar document or a verification certificate. Approved credentials require a separate authorized process.
Sharing references and locks
Your private portal reference allows an employer to request consent. It is not an identity number. Lock sharing to pause acceptance and access to current review status. Replacing a reference retires unanswered old invitations while retaining history.
Withdrawing consent
In Consent & activity history, select the relevant request, confirm your password and withdraw. Further status sharing stops, consent for that review is withdrawn and related credentials are revoked. Submitted records remain for audit.
SMS, email and government integrations
SMS and email contact verification remain pending activation. This is a Precious Nepal service. Government database checks and biometric services require separate authorized integrations and are not available here.
For Nepali citizens in India, registration now links India state/district, city and optional PIN with the Nepal province, district, municipality, ward and tole directory. Residence and workplace can differ. Location details remain private self-declarations. Available NSO census figures describe the home area at their published year and level, not the population currently living in India.
For account recovery use the private one-use code saved at signup. Never share your password or recovery code with an employer.
